Description

Head off on a day hike in the Ecola State Park with an experienced guide. In this park, you’ll find some of the best hikes in Oregon and enjoy anything from four to fourteen miles of trekking.

We’ll take on two trails one after the other. The first is the Crescent Beach Trail. This is around 3.6 miles roundtrip. It’s a fairly gentle hike that takes us to the lovely sandy Crescent Beach.  We’ll be able to enjoy a walk through the woods and get to look out on Chapman Point and Bird Rocks.

The second is the Tillamook Head Trail, at 6.3 miles it’s definitely a longer trail. We’ll just go to the Tillamook Head Viewpoint and WWII Bunker and then head back which will mean a hike of 3 miles.

Throughout the day we’ll enjoy stunning scenery including cliffs, lovely beaches, and more. These really are some of the best Oregon hikes, all within a few hours drive of Portland.

So, enjoy the best of the Oregon coast and get some great exercise in while you’re at it. Request to book now and we’ll be waiting on the coast.

Ever want to climb a glacier? Then you should check out our 3-day climbing trip to Jefferson Park.
