On this 1-day adventure, we will explore the stunning Nerei gorge, located just a 2-hour drive away from Timișoara.
The Nerei Gorge It is one of the longest gorges în România. The trail that follows this gorge was dug 300 years ago, when the Nerei river ran through it. The trail boasts many tunnels and sections that are carved directly in stone, just meters above the water level. Furthermore, the area is part of Cheile Nerei-Beusnita National Park, famous for its beauty and virgin forests. On this trip, we will explore this unique region and we can also visit other hidden beauties around the Nerei gorges such as Susara waterfall, Beusnita Waterfall, and Vaioaga waterfall.
