Cross crountry skiing day in the “Tri Country” region, Nauders Ski Resort

Situated in the very westernmost corner of Austria, the Tri Country region of Nauders, Tyrol and Kaunertal is a veritable paradise for cross country skiers!

Starting out from our base at the Nauders ski resort, we will have the option to spend our day skiing in any of these excellent spots. We may even have the chance to ski in Switzerland and Italy, both of which are in very close proximity!

Boasting over 90 kilometers of trails all of which will have excellent snow throughout the season, we can make any number of different trips over the course of our day.

Among the top spots that never fail to amaze visiting skiers are the Reschen Trail, the Arsang Trail, the Höhen Trail in Langtaufers or the Moasl Trail in Nauders.

All of these are located between 1.440 and 1.900 meters above sea level allowing for some fun little descents, but also making sure there is not too much climbing afterwards.

Along with these options, many skiers like to start in Tyrol, cross the border into neighboring Italy in the South Tyrol and finish the day in the Swiss Engadine.
