Cross-country skiing day in the Uinta Mountains, close to Park City

Join me on this truly awesome day of cross-country skiing, as we wind our way around the gorgeous, pretty and amazing Utah wilderness near Park City, a region that is world-famous for its skiing and snow conditions, providing access to millions of acres of pristine and unspoiled landscape, terrain and scenery.

Located in the Northeast of Utah and 190 miles from Park City, the Uinta Mountains are a relatively remote and isolated range that provides some of the best cross-country skiing areas in the country, as the lack of crowds and vast tracts of open valleys, forests and mountain slopes ensure you can go at whatever pace you want.

We will meet in the morning and then head out skiing in earnest, so as to maximise the amount of skiing during the day.

The snowfields and areas we will be skiing on seemingly stretch on forever in to the horizon, and due to the ample space it will make the whole day seem that much more quiet, relaxed, tranquil and idyllic, with the only sounds being our skis going over the snow and us breathing in the fresh, crisp air.

We finish in the afternoon having witnessed some of the most marvelous and epic remote scenery in the country, and hopefully will have whetted your appetite for more cross-country skiing.
