Welcome to a challenging loop hike to the open summit ridge of the Crane Mountain. It is an amazing peak situated in the southeastern side of the Adirondacks, near Wevertown.
Our starting point will be in Wevertown, in Warren County. From there we’ll start walking a fantastic 7,7 km long trail surrounded by breathtaking views. Once we get to the base of the Crane Mountain we’ll ascend it via a gentle but sometimes steep slope. Anyway, when you conquer the summit all the effort will be worth it.
From up there, the trail descends to the shores of a great pond nestled on a rock shelf just below the top of the mountain. As we go down, we will finally explore the natural stone bridge and the cave which are also hidden in this mountain.
Although it is not a technical hike it will be necessary to have a good fitness level to fully enjoy the program. Anyway we can adapt it to your wishes and expectations and find a custom version for you and your family or friends.
Send your request now so we can plan together your next hiking adventure in the Crane Mountain or in any other magical spot of the Adirondacks.
