Description

I invite you to join me on an exciting steep skiing week in the couloirs of the Lyngen Alps. This mountain range lies east of the beautiful city of Tromsø, in northern Norway.

The Lyngen Peninsula is the place to go for steep skiing. Also, it’s a great spot for high quality and extreme ski tours in an amazing atmosphere.

If you are a true skier, you have to come and ski in the Lyngen Alps at least once in your life. This incredible region in Norway offers untouched powder snow, the amazing northern lights and also the unforgettable views of the fjords.

After our arrival in Troms, we will head to our base for the next few days: a house at Lakselvvatner, located less than an hour away from the airport.

Please note this trip is suitable for advanced and experienced skiers. The days can be somewhat longer than in other tours so you need to be in excellent physical shape to join this trip.

There is such a great diversity of couloirs in the Lyngen Alps! You’ll find every degree of difficulty. And most importantly, they are relatively easy to access so we will easily find great lines for a fantastic ski touring week.

Also, we will push a little bit harder than usual to achieve more. We may be up very early, still on our skis at midnight and hiking up a challenging couloir just to ski some great descents in that special place.

It will be an unforgettable ski week! So contact me if you want to join me on this couloir skiing week. I will guide you to make the most out of this trip in the Lyngen Alps. You can also check out my 7-day ski tour in Lapland, also in Norway. Or you can just check all the amazing ski touring trips that I offer.
