The Col d’Entreves (3,517m) is a fantastic first step in the enormous, incredible world of the Mont Blanc massif. The Col d’Entreves rests between the Aiguille d’Entreves (3,604m) and the Tour Ronde (3,792m).
In this wide open space at the mountain bases, the area is perfect for exploring. Not only are there amazing peaks to see, but there are also incredible views of surrounding glaciers as well, including the great Geant glacier. Overall, the views you will receive from the Col d’Entreves are some of the best in the entire Mont Blanc massif.
The entire trip will last between 4 and 5 hours. It will begin at the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car terminal at Entreves, where we will venture on the cable car up to the Punta Helbronner (3,400m). After enjoying views from the Punta Helbronner’s terrace, we will make our way down to the Geant glacier. From there, you will get even more great views of the massif as we venture to the Col d’Entreves. After you’ve soaked in enough views to last a lifetime, we will make our way back to the Punta Helbronner.
Because the focus of this trip is exploration, the difficulty level is quite low. Thus making it accessible for almost anybody. As well, throughout the day, you will receive several mountaineering tips and lessons, from how to walk in the snow with crampons, to manoeuvring while being roped in.
The Col d’Entreves is one of the most beautiful cols in the Alps. And it is the perfect introduction for those interested in the world of mountaineering. Please send me a request if you would like me to guide you on this adventure.

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
