Description

Marmolada is the highest peak in the spectacular Dolomite Mountains. I invite you to join me and climb Punta Penia (3340m), considered Marmolada's main peak.

We will meet at Passo Fedaia, and start climbing from Pian dei Fiacconi, following the normal route to Punta Penia. We will first cross the largest glacier in the Dolomites, then we will climb the last part on the rocky and snow-covered crest until we reach the much sought-after summit cross.

Marmolada is often called "the Queen of the Dolomites". Situated between the Sella Group and the Pale di San Martino, its amazing ridge forms a natural border between the Trentino and Veneto regions in Italy.

The Fedaia Pass is a very good point to start climbing to Punta Penia. It is located between Canazei and Malga Ciapela, and there is a beautiful lake in this area.

If you want to join me on this climb in the Dolomites, just contact me and book your place! Let me guide you to Punta Penia and enjoy a great day climb.
