Description

The Pyrenees are a majestic mountain range in Europe. And on this private adventure, you will get the opportunity to explore as much as you want from them.

So get ready for an unforgettable mountaineering trip! Let me suggest the best options for you, depending on your level of expertise and what you are looking for. Whether you want to stay only one day, a whole month or even more, you won’t be disappointed.

Some of the places we can visit include Midi d’Ossau (2,885 m), which from May to October is the best option in the area. This lonely star in the Pyrenees, shines not only for its beauty but its welcoming paths, that rank no more than grade III.

But, if you are searching another option during the same season, Balaitous (3,144 m) is what you’re looking for. It offers an easy ascent, ideal for beginner and intermediate climbers.

Then, from April to October you can attempt to reach the summit of the highest peak in the Pyrenees: Vignemale (3,298 m). And enjoy the best views from its top.

Or perhaps you’d like to reach one of the most famous mountains here: Aneto (3,404 m). You can climb this magnificent mountain all year long and reach one of the biggest glaciers on this mountain range.

Ready for this adventure? Search no more, and let me guide you across the Pyrenees.

Are you looking for a different type of trip? I also guide this canyoning in the Basque Country and Navarra: Sintxita, La Leze, Artazulo & Aguake.

Mountain Guide

AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain

Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.

I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.

I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
