  • Bask in breathtaking views of the Andes between Argentina and Chile.
  • See the beautiful San Jose and Maipo volcanoes up close from the summit.

Description

Located on the Chilean and Argentinean border, the Nevado Marmolejo (6,108m) is the southernmost 6,000 meter plus peak in the world. And, for 6 thrilling days, I would like to guide you to this magnificent peak’s summit.

Positioned next to the San Jose volcano (5,856m) and the Maipo Volcano (5,264m), the Marmolejo peak offers some truly spectacular views. And, because the peak is located near the Chilean city of Santiago, this adventure makes for a great addition to a trip you may be taking to the city.

The ascent of the peak involves crossing several long valleys as well as a glacier.

During the ascent, we will be stopping at several different camps. Each camp is located higher up the peak. As a result, you will get to enjoy different, but equally amazing views, while also getting properly acclimatized before reaching the summit.

In order to participate on this trip, you should be in good physical condition.

Have you ever wanted to climb a 6,000 meter plus peak in the Andes between Chile and Argentina? If so, this 6-day adventure will give you that chance. So, send me a request and let me guide you to the summit of the Nevado Marmolejo. I have no doubt you will have an unbelievable experience.

For more than 20 years I have worked as a guide in Chile. Join me and I´ll be able to show you the wonderful spots that the Andes offer to those who share my passion for big mountains.

I live in Santiago de Chile, the Chilean capital, where there are many options for high altitude ascents, even over 6,000 meters, in close proximity to the city. I also regularly organize trips to the Chilean Altiplano, where there are many mountains over 6000 meters. However, the main attraction of these trips is to witness the intensity and loneliness of the Atacama Desert.

I would love to have the opportunity to share these magical moments with you and help you achieve your goals and dreams.
