The alpine valley of Pitztal is located in Tyrol, Austria. Surrounded by the huge peaks of the Alps, this region is a perfect starting point for outdoor adventures.
This day trip is your chance to reach the summit of the Left Ferner Kogel (3277m), one of the most popular peaks of the Stubai Alps. The route starts at the Franz Senn hut with a 3½- hour hike over glaciers and snow. At the end, it requires some easy rock climbing (100 m).
Keep in mind that this ascent requires some mountaineering experience and a good fitness level!
