Join me on this 2-day trip and reach the summit of the Aiguille du Tour (3540m), in the Mont Blanc massif. This is a great opportunity to venture yourself into mountaineering and to learn alpine climbing techniques.
The Aiguille du Tour is also a perfect first summit to climb in the Chamonix valley. The normal route to the top provides a technically easy and enjoyable path, ideal for beginner mountaineers.
We will meet in Chamonix and from there we will head to the village of Le Tour, where we will take the cable car to the top. From there, we will hike to the Albert Premier refuge, situated right next to the Glacier du Tour.On the first day, you will learn the basic mountaineering techniques, use of crampons and ice axe, among other alpine climbing techniques.
On the second day, we will have breakfast at the refuge and start the ascent to the Aiguille du Tour. Once at the summit, you will enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. We will have lunch there and return to the refuge at noon, where we will have a drink and descend to Chamonix in the afternoon.Â
A climbing program to the Aiguille du Tour is a great chance to enjoy a first mountain experience in the stunning setting of the Chamonix valley. It also works perfectly as an acclimatization trip before attempting more challenging ascents in Mont Blanc.
If you want to join me on this ascent, just contact me! Book your trip and come climb to Aiguille du Tour summit!

We had a fantastic trip with Carlos as our guide. We were able to summit Mont Blanc with Carlosâ guidance and couldnât have asked for more. There were some adverse weather conditions on the final day of our trip and so Carlos changed the refuge bookings to allow us to descend safely albeit with a long summit day. Explore-Share were great throughout with communications and Nico in particular was very helpful. Would definitely recommend but make sure to come prepared as it is a very tough climb!

On 2 July, Carlos and I climbed Mont Blanc. We had a friendly atmosphere throughout the tour. Thanks to Carlos's professionalism and knowledge of the area, i felt completely safe all the time. Thanks Carlos :-)

Although we werenât able to make it to the top due to a last minute weather change, we truly enjoyed the expedition and Carlos as a guide! We will be trying again next year đ

The whole trip was excellent. Explore share did a great job coordinating. Carlos is an experienced guide and effective teacher. I felt safe with him the whole time we were on the mountain. The weather was terrific and we summited just as expected. I highly recommend Carlos Vasquez for Mont Blanc.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
