Climbing Mt. Bisaurin by Normal Route

Bisaurin Peak of 2.545 meters of height is located in the Aragon Pyrenees. It is one of the most emblematic summits of the region of Jacetania.

We can ascend to the Bisaurin from the Lizara Mountain Hut, available during all the year. That hut is located in the valley of Aragues del Puerto. We also have the option of leaving from the Gabardito Hut, in the village of  Pueblo de Hecho.

In general, the most famous hike is the Lizara Route. Pueblo de Hecho offers a beautiful but a longer trail. So, I propose you to leave from Lizara, 12 km far from Aragues del Puerto, on the county road of Aragues Valley. It will be a trekking on limestone terrains and many colors around.

We will meet in a place previously arranged with you. Then, we start this amazing 1-day expedition by the normal route. It has no technical difficulties. What you have to take into account is that the upper surfaces have the high mountain features.

Bisaurin summit is like a balcony, with vertical walls everywhere you look, giving us the sensation of being in a lonely and very far mountain. The total altitude change during the ascent is 800 meters and the descent will be done by the same route.
