Description

Aconcagua (6,962m). In a way, the name says it all. The highest mountain in the Americas, this spellbinding peak doesn’t just want your attention and your awe, it demands it. The manner in which it looms above everything else around it. The way powdered snow effortlessly and silently blows off its summit. There is something truly majestic and magical about this peak. And, For 18 days, I would like to guide you to its summit via the mountain’s normal route.

Our adventure will begin in the village of Las Cuevas (3,200m). After that, we will venture to the Aconcagua Park. In the park, we will cross the stream of Horcones, from Confluencia (3,400m) and then make our way up to Plaza de Mulas (4,300m). From there, we will make our way up the mountain, setting up camps along the way before reaching the summit.

Since this trip lasts 18 days, you can rest assured that plenty of time will be spent getting properly acclimatized, which is crucial when scaling a peak as enormous as Aconcagua. Furthermore, this trip also has 3 extra days in case of inclement weather. Thus ensuring that you reach the summit and get back down the mountain both safely and successfully, even if things don’t go exactly as planned.

For a trek of this magnitude it is important that participants are in good physical condition. Prior experience in similar expeditions is also recommended.

Climbing a peak like Aconcagua is an experience you will never forget. From the views during the ascent to the feeling you will have when you step foot on the summit and gaze at the world below, I have no doubt you will look back on this trip for the rest of your life. Mountain Leader

EPGAMT Mountain guide from Argentina.

The mountain is my workplace and space to enjoy what I like to do ... mountaineering.

I climbedd and promoted various mountains and volcanoes such as: Aconcagua , Ojos del Salado, Pissis , Walter Penck , Incahuasi, Plata, Rincon, Vallecitos , etc.

The mountain can find oneself, to rediscover the essence and every moment. It is a natural place that transmits balance, harmony, tranquility and at the same time, tests us and motivates us to self-improvement. The mountain is accessible to all, just enough to take the first step ... we offer a different experience to share.
