Brace yourself for awe-inspiring vistas of the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia Bay, and the Chilean islands of Hoste and Navarino. This ascent is an unmissable Patagonian adventure!

Ascend through the pristine landscapes and encounter the diverse nature of Ushuaia, including the emblematic lenga trees and the elusive red fox. The invigorating Patagonian air will fill your lungs as you conquer the challenging terrain, leading you to the summit's stunning panorama.

Our adventure will begin at 8:00 AM as we depart from the city to Ushuaia on a scenic drive to the base of the Glaciar Martial ski resort. Here, we'll pack our backpacks with essential gear and set off on our hike towards Mount Martial.

Witness glimpses of the Beagle Channel and the surrounding islands. Depending on the time of year, the hike to the snowline takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. From there, it's another hour to reach the summit, where the panoramic vistas will leave you breathless.

After savoring the breathtaking views from the summit, we'll begin our descent, retracing our steps back to the trailhead. The return journey offers another chance to admire the surrounding beauty from a different perspective.

Prior to going he provided a detailed list of supplies that would be needed and provided the items we lacked such as crampons and hiking poles. He even brought lunch (and snacks) which was a welcome reward for making it to the glacier! He was considerate of us with both the pacing and the route. We can’t say enough just how much fun we had and would 100% recommend Facundo to anyone considering a guide. Ojo Del Albino was the highlight of our trip to Ushuaia. Facu was an amazing guide. We had such a great hike and because we started early, there were very few people at the top. Facu was fun to talk with and extremely knowledgeable. Felt like we were hiking with a friend we had known for a long time even though we had just met that morning. Don’t let him fool you - he makes great sandwiches for lunch too! Highly recommend for anyone seeking out a hike with great views. Make sure you are in decent shape though.

Facu is a very skilled gide and has a lot of knowledge about the area and history of Terra del fuego. And he also is just a very nice guy, who would do his best to give you the best experience you can have in the mountains.
