Description

Would you like to explore a scenic region of northeastern Italy and climb a popular mountain? Then follow me on this 2-day rock climbing experience to the highest point of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, in the Dolomites!

On the border between the regions of Trentino – South Tyrol and Venetto, in northeastern Italy, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo is one of the most iconic mountain groups in the Alps. Part of the Sexten Dolomites, it includes three rock formations: Cima Piccola (2,857m), Cima Grande (2,999m) and Cima Ovest (2,973m). Until 1919 these peaks were part of the border between Italy and Austria.

On this 2-day adventure, we will climb the Dibona Ridge route, which leads to the summit of Cima Grande, the highest of the Lavaredo Peaks. On the first day, we will climb together to know us and get ready for the major goal. The second day, after spending the night in the Auronzo mountain hut, we will complete a 1 to 1½ hour hike to reach the starting point of Dibona Ridge!

First climbed in 1908, Dibona Ridge is one of the classic alpine climbs in the Dolomites. With 20 pitches and a maximum difficulty of IV+, it requires previous rock climbing experience. Furthermore, it is very important to have a good fitness level.

So, if you are up for this amazing rock climbing trip in the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, please get in touch with me. Let me guide you to through the Dibona Ridge all the way to the top of Cima Grande!

I can also take you to the Via Ferratas of the Dolomites.

We had a wonderful experience on top of Großglocklner. We felt very secure during the whole trip. Mauro was always clear and we got to learn several tips for our next adventures. I recommend!

Kristen

We had such a great trip! We felt incredibly safe with Mauro even during some intense, crowded moments up on the peak. All in all, we had a great experience!

Amol

Our dolomites experience was amazing! Mauro was really nice and patient with me and my wife. We changed our itinerary on the last day of dolomites as the via ferrata on piz boe would have been too difficult, instead we did a smaller one on Mauro's suggestion.
