Would you like to enjoy an exciting alpine experience in Italy? Then come to Veneto and reach the top of Monte Pelmo, one of the highest peaks in the Dolomites, under expert guidance!
Monte Pelmo is a mountain in the province of Belluno, in northeastern Italy. With a particular shape and standing isolated from other peaks, it was first climbed in 1857. It is part of the Dolomites, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.
On this 2-day tour, we will meet in the mountain town of Forno di Zoldo and get to the top of Monte Pelmo via the Normal Route. The long traverse, filled with vertiginous overhangs, crosses a varied terrain and offers breathtaking views. It includes a night in the first mountain hut built in the Dolomites, called Venezia, located between the valleys of Zoldana and Boite.
Please keep in mind that you must have some mountaineering experience and a good fitness level. We will ascend 400m the first day and 1,200m the second day. For more information, you can check the itinerary below.

Mountain Guide
I was born in the plain in 1983, but as often happens to those who were born there, I have always loved the mountains. I was three years old when I wore my first skis, not knowing that this would become my strongest passion ... Skiing, walking, climbing: it is since I was a child that I go to the mountains, first with my parents and my grandfather and then with my friends.
The degree in forestry science was only the logical consequence of this passion, as well as the beautiful summers spent managing the refuge Capanna Punta Penia in Marmolada (the highest refuge in the Dolomites, on top of the highest mountain in the Dolomites!), which I call "the bus without wheels" and all over the Dolomites!
The last step (for now...) was to become a Mountain Guide, to let you experience what the mountain transmits to me!
… and to show you the famous " bus without wheels”

Giovanni was an exceptionally wonderful guide! Our family spent the day with him climbing in Cinque Torri. He was incredibly patient with our children, and was able to find routes that we all enjoyed climbing. We loved every minute of the day and would recommend this trip to any family interested in doing some sport climbing near Cortina/Cinque Torri.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
