Description

Come to East Africa for the adventure of a lifetime! Over the course of 15 days, we will climb the highest peaks in Africa: Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) and Mount Kenya (5,199 m).

The adventure begins when we land in Nairobi and transfer to the foot of Mount Kenya, the second highest peak in Africa. Over the course of the next 4 days, we will climb through various climate zones, enjoying stunning views of our surroundings and getting the chance to see some of Africa's most iconic animals.

The highlight of the climb is summit day, in which we will head to one of the peak's minor summits and watch the sunrise over the serengeti, a real treat.

After we've descended Mount Kenya, the fun continues. We will head to a wildlife sanctuary and head out on two wildlife watching expeditions: one at night and one during the day, in order to see as many of Africa's most unique animals as we can.

From here, we return to Nairobi for a night before transferring to Kilimanjaro National Park. The second half of the trip will be spent summiting the highest mountain in Africa. We will again enjoy a stunning sunrise from its summit before returning to Arusha and heading to the airport.

There is no shortage of incredible scenery and nothing like the feeling of climbing the two highest peaks in Africa!

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this once-in-a-lifetime experience climbing to the top of Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro, while enjoying a safari in between!

If you like the look of this trip, but do not have 15 days to spare, then we think you may also enjoy our 8-day ascent of just Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route!

What people are saying about this trip

Randy

The Climbing Guides and service in both Kenya and Tanzania were super (5+ stars) Kenya Shem, Joxhu, Joseph & Agustin super and thanks. For Kilimanjaro, Deus and Goodlucky were fantastic. However Claudios needs to update the schedule (Lake Nakuru day 7 was canceled) and make available lunches (they were missing on 3 days to and from Nairobi) and make clear when travel will be alone. Finally the Nairobi service agent pushes additional add on Nairobi packages. These are of poor value and should be avoided. These additional package coverage was misleading and I should have avoided completely. This was a Nairobi issue only. Everyone else was above board and super to work with. in summary, the climbs are great and highly recommended. Note the published schedule is not exact and deal with the Nairobi service agent with caution. (Don't take the additional offerings.) Overall it was a very good experience where I met with many great people. Thanks to all.
