What experience and how fit do I need to be to climb this mountain? Is this program suitable for children or older people?
It is an excellent experience to begin in the height of the Andes since we will sleep three nights in a refuge with all the basic comforts
What is the best time of the year to climb this mountain?
All year round it is possible depending on your experience and what you are looking for. If you want snow all year round, if you prefer a warmer climate, I recommend from September to April or May, it will depend on the first snowfall.
What is the guide-to-client ratio to climb this mountain?
One guide for every three passengers, in this case for the summit day I recommend hiring an assistant guide. From passenger 4 to passenger 6, an assistant guide will come with us throughout the trip.
How far in advance should I start training and what kind of training do you suggest?
To ensure you are well-prepared for the challenges of climbing mountains, I strongly recommend maintaining a regular training regimen of at least three sessions per week. Focus on building your endurance and strength through a variety of exercises. Incorporate activities such as hiking, running, cycling, or stair climbing to improve your cardiovascular fitness and prepare your body for sustained physical exertion.
Will there be porters to help to carry group and personal equipment?
we don't need porters in this experience
Are there any other special requirements such as permits/insurance/vaccines that we need to consider before the tour?
They must also have a medical insurance service, are paid outside the expedition.
Can I join a group?
Yes, I wait for you to join the proposed dates!
Will I need to bring any technical equipment of my own? Is it possible to rent equipment, and if so, what would be the approximate cost of that?
yes, you can rent all de equipment
How will accommodation and meals be handled on the mountain?
During the entire expedition, we will be camping in tents in the mountains. However, before or after the expedition, you will have the opportunity to luxuriate in the comfort of a hotel in Mendoza capital. Are meals while in the mountain are included in this trip.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
In the event that bad weather puts the health of someone in the group at risk, we will wait at the base camp. If it is not possible to continue for safety reasons, the trip will be suspended. I will always look for a way to reach the top and continue the journey within safety parameters.
