Would you like to explore one of the most beautiful areas of Patagonia? Then join me for this 2-day hiking excursion around El Chalten.
We offer both private and group departures. Check out our scheduled dates below!
El Chalten is a colorful village in Santa Cruz Province in southern Argentina. Located within Los Glaciares National Park and surrounded by snow capped peaks and deep-blue coloured lakes, this area is an awesome destination for summer outdoor adventures.
On this hiking experience, we will discover the most stunning areas of El Chalten. We will reach the De los Tres lagoons, and amazing vantage points on Monte Fitz Roy and Glaciar Grande. Furthermore, we will spend a night at the Poincenot Base Camp surrounded by a fabulous alpine landscape.
Keep in mind that during the hike, your backpack will stay in the campsite so you won’t have to carry anything! However, you will need a good fitness level as we will hike for about 6 hours each day. For more information, you can check the itinerary below.

Alpine Guide
I moved to El Calafate in 2001 and very soon I started practicing mountain activities, including rock climbing, skiing, hiking and trekking. In 2007, I began to work in the mountains as an assistant guide in Perito Moreno.
I finished my trekking guide course in 2011 and then, in 2015, I completed the following course to become a Mountain Guide.
I manage Zetatrek, a guiding company offering hiking and trekking trips in El Chaltén and Los Glaciares National Park. I work together with a group of guides, so if I'm not available to guide you, one of my colleagues will do it. All the guides in the team are professionally certified, and hold the required permits to guide.

So happy with my trip. It was more than I could ever hope for. My guide was very patient and flexible with my capability to hike the difficult trails I am totally satisfied with this hike and will plan to do it again. Do you have this service for Torres Del Paine as well? Let me know.
