Classic rock climbing in the Cantabrian Mountains

Picos de Europa is a National Park located in Northern Spain and part of the Cantabrian Mountains range. In this 2-day rock climbing tour you will head up some of its most popular walls under expert guidance.

The imposing limestone mountains of the Cantabrian Mountains offer more than 1,000 climbing routes of different styles, sizes and difficulty. Furthermore, this 646.60 km² area is almost unknown, so it is un-crowded during the entire season.

Peñas del Prado via the Lago de Luna route will be our first climbing spot.  The following day we will go to Peñas del Prado, where we can choose between two classic routes: Lago de Luna (IV+, 240m.) or Linea Blance(6b, 240m). On the rocks, we will enjoy amazing views of charming mountain villages nestled in beautiful alpine valleys.

For accommodation, you can choose the guest houses and hotels in the villages, or the mountain huts.

This is a rock climbing trip exclusive for sure footed climbers: you need to be able to climb on V+/6a level. You should also be in a good shape: we will climb long routes on high rocks.
