Description

The Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park in Mexico is a wondrous place. Absolutely gorgeous, it is full of amazing areas you can explore. And, on this full-day trip, we would like to take you exploring along the underground Chontacoatlan River.

Within the Cacahuamilpa caves, you will get to gaze in wonder at this subterranean world that is unlike any other you’ve ever seen. Moreover, following the Chontacoatlan River, you will get to venture deeper and deeper into the cave. You will even get to walk to the Skylight, where you will get to observe the cave in all of its wonder and size.

Full of unique formations, sounds and sights, the cave will definitely take your breath away. Following our departure from the cave, we will then visit the Cacahuamilpa Market, where you can enjoy some tasty local food.

This is not a difficult trip. As a result, children as young as seven years old can enjoy it. Thus making this a great adventure for the whole family.

Participants should bring the following items: Towel Sun cream of at least factor 30 Complete change of clothes Insect repellent Wash kit Mountain coat Boots or trainers with a treaded sole and which protect the ankles Comfortable shirt and trousers, preferably made of synthetic fibers and not cotton, including jeans. Large bag for your wet clothes at the end of the descent
