Description

Are you looking for a winter adventure in a scenic region of the Argentinian Patagonia? Then join me on this ski touring day in El Chalten and discover the Cerro Vespignani powder!

El Chalten is one of the most attractive areas of South America. It is at the foot of the southern Andes, on the Border with Chile, within the Santa Cruz Province. With easy access to impressive mountains, lakes, glaciers and forests, this village is popular among people from all over the world.

What I am offering is an exciting ski touring day outing in Cerro Vespignani. We will climb from Lago del Desierto, a beautiful lake in the north of El Chalten. Then, after reaching the top of the mountain, which offers panoramic views of the Fitz Roy mountain and Lago del Desierto lake, we will enjoy awesome descents on a glacial terrain.

Because we will have to hike and climb carrying our skis to reach the summit, keep in mind that you will need advanced skiing skills and a good fitness level! Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.

So, are you up for a classic ski touring experience in El Chalten? Then please contact me! Let’s ski on the top-quality snow of Cerro Vespignani!

I offer different winter activities in El Chalten. For example, you can also check out this Ice Climbing Course and this 7-day Hiking Expedition.

Mountain Guide

IFMGA/UIAGM guide from Argentina.

I’m trekking guide since 2009, and became fully IFMGA certified in 2014.
I’ve climbed in many destinations in the Andes in Argentina, and also in Perú, Brasil, France, Spain, Italy and Austria.

I work together with two other colleagues and friends, Indio and Tomás, who are also IFMGA. So if I’m not available to guide you, one of them can do it.

The three of us live in El Chalten, where we practice our profession and develop our passion for climbing and skiing. And we want to share it by opening the doors to all those who want to live their Patagonian experience in a safe and unforgettable way.

We are also committed to mountain training. Therefore, we can give you the basic tools to move in the mountain safely and smoothly. That's why we offer courses for all levels depending on the terrain you want to train. We give lessons of rock climbing, ice climbing, glacier transit and mountain skiing.
