Situated in the heart of California's magnificent Sierra Nevada mountain range, Bear Valley is the ideal place for a day of cat skiing fun!

Using a snowcat, we will be able to get far away from the popular resort in the valley and out into the backcountry of the Sierra Nevada. Here, we will find some of the most pristine and high-quality snow available anywhere in California!

The fun begins first thing in the morning after we've met up and gotten into the snowcat. The spacious cat has enough room for up to 11 skiers along with two to three guides.

Once we're all in and ready to go, the snowcat will bring us well into the backcountry, allowing us to avoid the crowds and enjoy this picturesque wilderness all to ourselves.

We'll spend the whole morning skiing at the foot of Ebbetts Pass as well as elsewhere in the valley and break at around noon for lunch. After refueling, we'll head back out onto the slopes until evening, before returning to our starting point.

One of the best parts of using the snowcat is the ability to warm up in between runs. It'll increase our longevity and our enjoyment of this incredible place.
