Join me in this canyoning day program in Arroyo López, in the area of Bariloche, in northern Patagonia!
Canyoning is an activity in which we travel in canyons using a variety of techniques, such as swimming, rappelling in waterfalls and jumping into natural pools. It’s great fun, and you’ll enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a beautiful area of Bariloche!
We guarantee a high standard of quality and security when hiring a canyoning guide.
We always use new and first quality equipment to be safe and enjoy a fantastic day of canyoning in Arroyo López. Anyone over 12 years can join, and the only requirement is to know how to swim.
There are two options for canyoning in Arroyo Lopez, which was one of the first canyons opened in the region:
Arroyo López – Full Day – Moderate difficulty
We drive from Bariloche to the base of Cerro Lopez, from where we walk for an hour until the beggining of lower Lopez canyon. There we prepare the equipment, and start the descent doing some rappelling. The gorge starts to narrow more and more, until it suddenly opens. From this point on we enjoy a beautiful view of the lakes, and we go over several waterfalls. We end up in the last waterfall, which is 38 meters high.
Arroyo López Integral – Full day – Moderate difficulty, physically demanding
We drive from Bariloche to the base of Cerro Lopez, from where we walk an hour and a half to the beggining of the canyon, at the foot of the refuge. From there we go down to the lower López doing some rappelling and following narrow gorges with numerous drops. From this point on we continue as described in the above program.
Get in touch if you are interested in discovering Bariloche’s hidden spots canyoning: we depart every day during summer season!

Canyoning Guide
I've been doing canyoning since 30 years all over the world (France, Slovenia, Spain, Colombia, Bali, Marocco, Italy, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina…).
With more than 25 canyons opened in Patagonia, I'm probably the person who better knows the area.
I was born in France, where I am Federal instructor and DEJEPS (state instructor).
I set up in Argentina since more than 12 years, and I can guide you in Spanish, English and of course French.
After the season in Argentina, I'm running the world for giving courses and certifying guides.

We went canyoning to Arroyo de la Virgen. It was great; Cedric was personable, knowledgeable, and very professional. He explained everything well and I felt very safe at all times. It was our first time canyoning and I only regret we didn't have enough time to go another day and try something more challenging. I would heartily recommend Cedric to others.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
