Canyoning day in Somosierra, close to Madrid

Looking for a canyoning program for beginners? Then join me on this trip in Somosierra, near Madrid.

On this opportunity, I invite you to come to Somosierra, a municipality in the north of the city of Madrid. Near the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, we can go to a fantastic canyon where you can learn everything about canyoning basics and acquire experience.

First of all, we’ll meet at 10 am in Puerto de Somosierra and have a short briefing about the activity. Then, we’ll approach the area and prepare the equipment. We’ll hike for a while and enjoy the descent. It will be a half-day program.

During the experience, we’ll try several rappels of up to 30 meters and go for a 9-meter slide. If you have a little more experience, we’ll descend into a waterfall and we can enjoy more challenging rappels.

The program is aimed at beginners in canyoning. However, if you have some prior experience we can go for longer and more demanding rappels. In any case, it’s very important to be physically fit.
