Description

The Alta Garrotxa Natural Area is a natural paradise in Sadernes, Girona. Don’t miss out on the fun and explore this incredible place, on this half day program.

Unlike other hiking trips this is a challenging program that will lead us to the most beautiful parts of this Spanish Eden. Thus, participants must have an excellent fitness level. As we’ll trek for about three hours all the way to the summit of the Needle Valley. But, once we get there, all our efforts will be rewarded with dazzling views over the area. Furthermore, we’ll reach stunning waterfalls with mesmerizing turquoise canyons. Here, thrilling jumps and rappels on a wall up to 40 meters will be waiting for us.

Alta Garrotxa one of the best preserved and most important natural areas in the Pyrenees. Its landscapes are simply breathtaking, offering an amazing way to learn about the local wildlife and culture. Due to the isolation of this wild terrain, we’ll encounter a huge variety of unique flora and fauna, representative of the middle peaks of Catalonia.

There are endless outdoor activities we could do in this place. However, it is without any doubt, one of the best spots for canyoning in the country.

My name is Lorenzo. I am an UIMLA-certified Mountain Leader, specialized in via ferrata and canyoning. I was raised in a family of pioneers in climbing and adventure activities. I grew up in contact with nature, since I was very little. I have always loved to share my experiences and knowledge with everyone that has accompanied me along the way.

I decided to prepare myself and professionalize my techniques, in order to have all the necessary tools and offer you guarantees of security and fun in each of our outings. I am certified as a Physical-Sports Activities Instructor in Natural Environment, Medium Mountain Sports Technician and Canyoning Sports Thecnician.
