Bugaboos 4-day mountaineering trip to Purcell Mountains

Come explore some of the most incredible alpine climbing in Canada during this 4-day trip to Canada’s Bugaboos!

The Bugaboos, located in the Purcell Mountains which are themselves a subrange of the Columbia Mountain range, are known for an abundance of world class climbing routes.  In particular, climbers flock to the impressive granite spires which rise above the snowy glaciers below to challenge themselves with an incredible mountaineering and alpine climbing adventure.

During this privately guided trip, I will use my extensive knowledge of the area to guide you up the best routes based on your interests, fitness, abilities, and route conditions.  Over the course of 4 days, we will have a chance to explore longer, as well as shorter routes.  There are breathtaking lines for climbers of all levels and I welcome all climbers from beginner to expert.  Whether you want to learn new skills and challenge yourself, or spend a few days exploring the stunning alpine terrain of the area, I can design the perfect trip for you!

We will meet on the first day in Golden, British Columbia where we will check our equipment before driving to the Bugaboos (fuel costs not included in the cost for this trip).  Then, a 3.5 hour hike takes us to our campsite.  Before the day ends, we will have a chance to brush up on the glacier travel and rock climbing skills that will be necessary for the upcoming days.  We then then have two full days for alpine climbing and exploration before we head back to Golden, BC on Day 4.
