Beyond being incredibly fun, rock climbing is a fascinating activity. It’s fascination comes from how it constantly evolves. When somebody becomes interested in rock climbing, that interest can span a lifetime. From rock walls to mountains, it grows and grows. And on this full day course, I would like to help that growth by teaching you proper alpine climbing techniques. Moreover, I would like to teach you those techniques in the Coast mountain area of beautiful British Columbia, near Squamish.
The techniques you will learn in this course include alpine hazards, building and backing up alpine rappel anchors and terrain belays. It also includes simul-climbing, basic alpine systems and piton placement and use.
With the lessons you will learn on this course, you will be able to widely expand your rock climbing ambitions. You will get to take on stunning routes on places like the Bugaboo mountain range, the Tantalus range, the Anderson range, and many more. When it come to rock climbing, the more you learn, the more you can climb. And it is my goal to help you learn as much as possible. In this course, I will see to it that you learn how to climb faster and safer on wild alpine rock.
Do you want to evolve your rock climbing abilities? Then send me a request, come to Squamish, and let me teach you the techniques necessary for successful alpine rock climbing.
I also offer a full day rock climbing rescue course in the same area as well.
