Description

Difficult and arduous, The Blue John Canyon in Utah is a fantastic place for anybody who loves canyoning to really challenge themselves.

On this 2 day expedition you will get to try your hand at an incredibly physically demanding canyon, the Blue John Canyon. Named after the outlaw John Griffith, who hid in the canyon and had one brown eye and one blue eye, the Blue John Canyon is an amazing place. It is also the place where Aron Ralston had his harrowing ordeal that led to the award winning film, 127 hours. Its storied past only adds to the mystique, to the wonder, and the challenge of the Blue John Canyon.

For two days, you will get to explore the depths of this great canyon. You will get to spend hours in its East and West forks, which include three 70 foot rappels. You will also get to explore and enjoy the canyon’s lower narrows, which are also known as the gauntlet. This area is home to a great pour off with a sensational grotto below.

In between the 2 days of canyoning, you will also get to rest in a comfortable campsite. You will get to gaze upward at the stars and the endless sky. You will also get to reflect on the challenges you faced in the canyons with your fellow adventurers.

Great scenery, great challenges and great fun, the Blue John Canyon is an amazing place to visit. And on this 2 day expedition, I would like to guide you through its rigorous terrain. So send me a request and come to Utah. I look forward to hearing from you.
