Join me on this great hut-to-hut glacier tour in Bishorn. This peak has an altitude of 4153 meters. It is located just north of the Weisshorn, in the heart of the Pennine Alps.
It's my pleasure to invite you to this 5-day glacier trek. I think that Bishorn is a perfect mountain for those who love to discover wild and majestic landscapes away from the crowds.
As for the itinerary, this trekking tour starts in St. Niklaus, where we'll take a cable car. Once we reach the Alpe Boys station we must cross the Wasenlücke Pass to reach our first mountain hut, the Topalihütte at 2674 m.
We will then follow an easy trail up to the Schölli glacier. Here, we'll have to climb a short section so we can get to the Schöllijoch mountain pass. From here, we will climb the 3610-meter-high Barrhron to finally descend to our second hut, the Turtmannhütte at 2519 m.
On our third day we must first hike to Brunegg, a Swiss commune, and then continue over the Turtmann Glacier to arrive at the Tracuit hut.
The adventure continues by ascending to the Firnhänge so we can access a short snow ridge that leads to the Bishorn Mountain. Once up there, the views of the Weisshorn and the surrounding mountains of the Valais Canton are simply breathtaking. Then, we descend to the next hut — Tracuithütte at 3256m.
On the last day, and after a leisurely breakfast, we will say goodbye to the glacier world and descend to Zinal, where this fantastic program ends.
So contact me if you want to join me on this great hiking adventure on the Bishorn mountain! I will be happy to guide you during this hut to hut glacier trek!
And if you enjoy snow activities, I recommend another program that I offer in the region. It is a 3-day ski tour around the Zermatt Valley. It is also a great option to combine with a glacier trek.

This was a great trip and Explore Share made finding the right trip super easy. Our guide was personable, extremely knowledgeable, and experienced and willing to teach us the skills we would have needed to climb the Matterhorn. Unfortunatly, the conditions were not right to climb so our guide recemmended another trip which was still a great experience and lots of fun.

Very user friendly platform with timely responses from Explore Share representatives. The trip itself with Tom from Alps Adventures was awesome and ensure that we had an experience that was 100% what we wanted. Recommend both the platform and the guide. Thanks to all for arranging and delivering so well.
I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
