You’ll transfer from Marrakech and once you reach Agouti, at 1850m, you will meet your guide and mules. An easy 3 to 4-hour hike will take you to the campsite near Azib n’Ikkis. You will reach an altitude of 2250 m and pass through some lovely Berber villages on the way.
A short 4 to 5-hour trek will take you to Tarkeddid. The path is relatively steep, especially at the Oumskig Pass at 2909m and at the Aghouwri Pass at 3400m. The awe-inspiring views from the top will be a well-earned reward. After, you will go down a steep zig-zag path to the Tarkeddid refuge where you will spend the night.
On M’Goun summit day, you will wake up very early. Technically, the ascent is not too difficult, however, you will have to make a fair amount of effort. The summit will reward you with magnificent views of the Atlas Mountains and then you will return to the refuge on a 3 hours descent.
The trekking day begins with a traverse of the Arouss Gorge and then a hike down passing singing streams and rivers before trekking up to the Oumsoud Pass at 2969m. You will enjoy a picnic in a beautiful meadow in the Oumlilimt Valley. After a 3-hour trek, you will reach the Ain Aflafal refuge where you can enjoy a replenishing dinner and spend the night.
You will trek for around 5 to 6 hours to get back over the Ait Imi Pass to Tabant. The trek starts easy and becomes more demanding as you approach Ait Imi Pass. The descent from the pass is steep and there is loose scree, but only lasts about 90 minutes. Finally, you will get to Ait Imi, about 30 minutes away from Tabant.
From Tabant you can transfer easily back to Marrakech and enjoy the rest of your free time.

We had an amazing trek to Toubkal with Sabir and Hammid. Sabir was a great guide and also very good at telling us about local culture. Hammid was a great chef, the food was always delicious and there was always enough for us 3 big hungry guys. We can definitely recommend doing this beautiful trek with Sabir and Hammid.

Our trip to the Atlas Mountains & summit of Toubkal was one of the best experiences of my partner and I’s lives. Mohammad the organiser was friendly, helpful and made us feel safe and at home. Jamal our guide was amazing. He ensured we made it to the top of the mountain whilst explaining local culture and history. We formed a strong bond and I was very sad to be leaving. As the weather was good and we made the summit and back in 2 days we had time to mountain bike through the valley for the third day, again with Jamal showing us the ropes and treating us to fresh mint tea. A truly unforgettable trip and we will certainly be back when we can. Thank you Mohammad, Jamal and the beautiful village of Imlil and it’s surroundings.

We had a fantastic three days organised meticulously by Mohamed and led by Hasan. Hiking up Toubkal was beautiful, and Hasan even took us up another peak too. The food and accomodation were exceptional and everyone was so friendly. I wouldn't hesitate t recommend and will definitely return!

Abdul was a fantastic guide and made the journey very enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about the area and made sure to keep a pace which was challenging but doable for all participants. Mohamed was an excellent cook as well and I always looked forward to his meals. The area was beautiful and the climb to Mt. Toubkal is certainly unforgettable. I'm very glad I choose this tour, especially at this price.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
