Bagnes, Valais, Swiss Alps, 2 Day Guided Hiking

Bagnes, in the Swiss canton of Valais in the Alps, is an amazing area.

Blessed with an abundance of amazing highlights, Bagnes is  a glorious place to explore. And for 2 days and 1 night, I would like to guide you on a wonderful hiking tour through this fantastic place.

We will start the trip at the Martigny at 9:00 am. From there, we will take a taxi to the Brunet hut. From the hut, we will start hiking through the magnificent landscape of Bagnes. The highlight of the day will definitely be the 210 metre long Corbassiere Dyure footbridge at the foot of the stunning Combin de Corbassiere (3,716m). During the thrilling walk along the bridge you will get some unforgettable views of the area. And after approximately 5 hours of hiking, you will then get to relax and rest in a comfortable dormitory at the foot of the Combin peaks.

On the second day of the trip, after breakfast, we will hike for approximately 5 hours through some beautiful glaciers until we reach the Mauvoisin dam. At the dam, you will get to enjoy even more stunning views of Bagnes.

Both days of this trek will involve elevation increases between 450 and 850 metres. And while the skill level for this trip is medium and no technical experience is required, participants should be in good physical condition.
