Backcountry skiing with a guide in Stowe, VT (Full day)

I invite you to explore Stowe’s pristine terrain on a full day backountry skiing adventure. Situated in the Green Mountains range in northern Vermont, and boasting amazing trails, Stowe is known as “the ski capital of the East”.

Stowe comprises 2 separate mountains: Spruce Peak and Mount Mansfield. The area offers direct access to spectacular backcountry skiing terrain and the most reliable snowfall in the region. It boasts a generous snowpack and a long ski season, sometimes lasting well into April.

During this day tour, we will enjoy an unforgettable backcountry skiing tour, sliding on Stowe’s best trails. We can take you to explore the Bruce, the Steeple, the scenic Sky Top Ridge, the Tear Drop or the Underhill Trail, among others. The area offers a wide diversity of high and low elevation backcountry tours.

We will be sliding on great snow, surrounded by a unique wilderness. Tree lines and glade runs will accompany us as as we make our way uphill and down through the backcountry. In order to join this tour, you need to be an intermediate or advanced level skier and to have a good fitness level.
