Backcountry Skiing on Mt Yotei, Hokkaido

Backcountry Skiing on Mt Yotei, Hokkaido | undefined

Join a certified mountain guide on this advanced backcountry skiing tour to ride Niseko's famous and beautiful Mount Yotei, in Japan!

2 Days

Jan - May

Description

Mt Yotei – If you’ve skied in Niseko, it’s hard to miss this perfectly symmetrical volcano, inviting you to ski it.

Mt Yotei is not an easy ski touring objective and thus I offer this programme as a 2-day itinerary. We will spend the first day skiing the best powder I know in Niseko either by utilising lifts or exploring less visited areas away from the crowds. For your safety as well as for the other members of the group, please be aware that I may decide that you will not be able to join the Yotei trip after the first day.

Skiing / riding on Mt Yotei is a once in a life time experience that is the high point of Niseko backcountry experience. It is for advanced and experienced backcountry enthusiasts and you need to be able to ski / ride in full control in 30°, untracked slopes in deep powder, in between the trees, in bumpy terrains and in all conditions.

I offer this to you as a Group Tour (where you join a group) and as a Private Tour. The 2 days do not have to be a consecutive 2 days. You can specify which 2 days you want the guiding to be on, or you could also specify a window of dates and let me get back to you closer the time when we have better idea on the conditions / weather.

When contacting me, please tell me whether you’re interested in a private tour or joining a group tour, as well as which programme A or B you’re enquiring about.

Programme A: 2 Days Lift accessed sidecountry skiing + Mt Yotei BC Ski

  • 1 person*: JPY 53,000 per person

  • 2-5 people: JPY 36,500 per person

Programme B: 2 Days Backcountry Skiing in Niseko + Mt Yotei BC Ski

  • 2-5 people: JPY 39,000 per person
