Description

Let us take you Backcountry skiing on Mt. Baker one of the most interesting and beautiful mountains in the north west of the United States.

The Mount Baker is an active stratovolcano located in Washington State in the northwest of the United States. It’s part of the Cascade Volcanic Arc and it’s known for being the second most active crater in the area, after the world famous Mount Saint Helens.

But most important it is a dream come true for every backcountry skiing lover!

Every year snow dumps like few places in the world. The Pacific storms bring lots of precipitations which result in huge snowfalls. And the unique and steep landscape of this mountains creates a perfect setting for this type of skiing.

So the idea is to meet early in the morning and drive to either Bagley Basin, Table Mountain or Mount Herman, because the three of them offer exquisite ski terrain to enjoy.

So come backcountry skiing with one of our highly certified guides and allow us to share our passion and my knowledge with you. We’ll make this Mount Baker experience something you won’t forget.

And if you want to try a longer skiing adventure in the north west of the United States, please also check our 4-day Isolation Ski Traverse in the North Cascades.
