Mount Mansfield is the tallest mountain in Vermont standing high at 1340 metres above sea level. Here’s your chance to take advantage of its deep pwder snow and forested slopes for some epic backcountry skiing!
Mount Mansfield is situated roughly 40km to the east of Burlington, Vermont’s largest city and its international airport.
We’ll meet at the eastern base of the mountain and from here we have miles of perfect backcountry skiing terrain at our fingertips!
With deep powder snow, forested mountain slopes and a low density population, this area provides truly exceptional off-piste opportunities.
It gives me great pleasure to offer this half-day backcountry trip, where I feel privileged to share my passion with you and create fantastic memories of a wonderful day.
Our trip will last between 4-6 hours and we have a variety of great locations from which you can choose. It won’t be long before you realise why they call Stowe the ‘Ski Capital of the East’.
For example: The high elevation ‘Skytop Ridge’ with its amazing views, the ‘Steeple’ where you can try out your telemark techniques, or the ‘Bruce’, the ‘Tear Drop’ and the ‘Underhill Trail’ are all available options!
Despite this course not being particularly long or intense, you will need to be of an intermediate to advanced level of skiing to join this excursion.
Don’t miss out on this amazing chance to explore the wild and wonderful backcountry around Mount Mansfield and Stowe in Vermont. Deep powder snow and hours of fun await you!
