Burnie Glacier Chalet ski week in BC, Canada

The Burnie Glacier Chalet is located in the Howson peak in the Coast Mountains. It is a great place to explore this stunning ski location and attracts explorers and adventurers every winter. On this one week backcountry ski trip with base in the Burnie Glacier Chalet we will get the chance to ski down some of the area’s most amazing slopes!

Our trip begins from Smithers from where we will take a helicopter to the Burnie Glacier Chalet. Once we arrive at our base, we will spend a whole week exploring this rugged mountain region. We will cover all sorts of skiing terrain including broken glaciers, alpine slopes, peaks and also try some tree skiing. In the evening we will return to the cozy chalet and enjoy some fine dining prepared by the cook that will join us!

This ski week is for intermediate to advanced skiers with a good fitness level. There will be a guide every six people so you will get personalised attention and guidance. This is the ideal excursion for ski enthusiasts looking to explore new terrains with other like minded people!
