Description

Challenge yourself to a ride along the high mountains and remote valleys of the Aursjøveien Road, and experience lively waterfalls, tranquil pools and the power of the outdoors.

We’ll ride from the fjord at 0 meters above sea level to 860 meters above sea level. The road twists and turns as we ascend to the plateau. This section presents rewarding challenges as we pass by stunning scenery.

Then, at the plateau, we have only exhilarating descends that wind down the mountain as we gain speed back to the bottom of the fjord.

The 2-day mountain biking tour opens up the secret stretch of paved and gravel road, approximately 77 kilometers long, where there is almost no traffic.

Beginning in the town of Sunndalsøra as we start our uphill climb through the Litldalen valley. Once we reach the top we’ll travel along the mountain plateau.

The next morning we’ll hit the road along an easy and fairly flat section surrounded by beautiful scenery. Rest your pedals and relax as we head downhill all the way to Eikesdalen.

Once here our path takes us to the stunning waterfall of Mardalsfossen, one of the highest in Europe.
