Maipo Volcano ascent, in the Great Diamond!

I invite you to an ascent to Maipo Volcano at 5.323 meters above the sea level. It is located in the amazing Natural Reserve “Laguna del Diamante” (Diamond Lake), as part of the Central Andes. From its slopes emerge the rivers Maipo and Diamante.

Being in a Natural Reserve means the unique opportunity of admiring guanacos, red foxes and the flight of condors. It is really a beautiful place full of adventures and amazing views.

DAY 1:  Mendoza Bus Terminal -Transfer to Laguna del Diamante at 3.300m of height.
DAY 2: Laguna del Diamante (acclimatization and rest)
DAY 3: Laguna del Diamante – Campsite 1 at 1.3800m
DAY 4: Camp 1 -Camp 2 at 4,400 meters
DAY 5: Camp 2- Maipo Volcano summit (5.327 meters high!) – Camp 2
DAY 6: Camp 2 – Laguna del Diamante – Buses Terminal in Mendoza.
