Our trek kicks off with a crossing of the magnificent Río Blanco Glacier, where the titanic ice and rock formations lead us to the base of the Mojón Rojo wall. Prepare to navigate an accessible yet thrilling climb, with a few challenging sections to add just the right touch of adventure.

Transfer to Río Eléctrico. Easy trekking to Laguna Sucia, passing by the Piedras Blancas Glacier. From Laguna Sucia the trekking is of moderate difficulty, passing through a lateral moraine and steep terrain until reaching the rock cave below the Río Blanco Glacier, where we will camp.
Approach time: approx. 6 hours.
Elevation difference: approx. 800m.
The day begins before dawn, after walking for approximately 45 minutes on rocky terrain eroded by the glacier, we will reach the base of the glacier. From there we will continue with crampons and rope towards the Mojon Rojo and its ridge
The ascent involves some climbing steps (grade II and III) and short rope climbing, plus a IV 20 m pitch. The views from the top are very impressive in their 360 degrees! After a rest at the summit, we return by the same path, we will rappel and continue back to the rock cave. We will take our camping equipment and return to El Chaltén.
The activity will last about 12 hours in total, with an elevation difference of approximately 900m.
I can modify the program according to your needs! Extra day, ascent to Madsen as a plus, return via Laguna Torre, etc. Don´t hesitate to contact me, it will be a pleasure to accompany you on this adventure.

Mountain Guide
IFMGA/UIAGM guide from Argentina - Patagonia
I live all year in Chalten, southern Patagonia, since 2015. I started guiding trekking in 2009. At the end of 2012, I started with the fanaticism of alpine climbing. I have climbed Mount Fitz Roy three times and all the satellite peaks of this range.
I've done climbing and ascents in many mountains of Andes Range, Bolivia and Argentina, such as Condoriri, Ojos del Salado, Pisis, Patagonia southern Icefield among others
I am passionate for backcountry ski. An activity to discover in these latitudes!
I belong to the new generation of AAGM high mountain guides, committed to teaching you all the necessary techniques to make your challenges safe and unforgettable!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
