Description

On this unforgettable 10 day adventure in the Alaskan north, we would like to guide you to the Arctic circle. However, in order to reach the Arctic circle, you will get to cross some of the most amazing gates in the world, the Arrigetch peaks. This impressive collection of jagged spires are a gorgeous stretch that you will have ample time to explore and admire.

This trip starts, continues and ends in the true wilderness. With no cities for miles and miles, you will get to enjoy the peace and the sheer scope of the wild and free Alaskan north.

Throughout the course of this hike, we will be progressively be going higher and higher, as we make our way through the Arrigetch peaks. However, because the altitude shift will be minimal, just a few hundred metres per day, there is no need to worry about altitude sickness. But since we will be hiking approximately 12 kilometres per day in the midst of that constant elevation, you should be in good physical condition.

After climbing out of the Alatna valley, a whole world will open up to you. This world will be filled with vast tundra, glaciers, jagged ridges, alpine lakes, rivers, an abundance of wild life, and of course, the looming Arrigetch peaks.

This is the kind of hiking adventure that really shows a person how impressive, magical and beautiful nature can be. Hence leaving you with a sense of appreciation and awe that will stick with you long after you have left.

So if you have ever wanted to step foot in the Arctic circle, send us a request, and let us guide you for 10 days through its incredible gates, the Arrigetch peaks.

Peggy

Will was great wise and fun to spend the day with.

Phillip

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Lucie

All perfect

Amanda

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
