Aosta Valley, Italy, Guided Rock Climbing

Known for great mountaineering, skiing and sight seeing, the Aosta valley in the Alps of Italy is also home to some great rock climbing as well.

For 1, or 2 days, depending on how much rock climbing you want to enjoy, there are several great spots to choose from in the Aosta valley. The focus of this trip will be in the lower region of the valley. There, you will get to choose from beautiful single, or multi-pitch climbing routes. A few examples of where you can climb include the Corma di Machaby and the Pilastro Lomasti. These are the two most famous spots and offer some great climbs. They also offer some mesmerizing views of the valley as well. Furthermore, because of the number of routes and spots, there are walls fit for climbers of every level.And for those looking for more challenging climbs, we can also visit the Orco valley. This area offers a more alpine, and thus more difficult, climbing opportunity.The spots we choose will be based on several factors, including weather conditions, your skill level, as well as approaching time.**The Aosta valley is an absolutely gorgeous place. Full of great views of the Alps, and spectacular landscapes, it is worth visiting just for the scenery.
