This exciting Algarve family adventure is designed for everyone to have an amazing time. Both children and adults will enjoy a fun program that combines the gorgeous Algarve landscapes and views, with upbeat and high-paced -but safe- activities, and the delicious goodies that Portugal is famous for.
The program lasts 8 days, with one free day, in which you can choose from a variety of activities or do your own thing. You can find an outline of the itinerary we will follow below.
Sea kayaking: from the river estuary to the sea, and then some playtime after a picnic before returning for a slice of cake.
Adventure walk: either to a beach for a nice swim or to a big lake where we can have lunch before walking back.
Bodyboarding: a great way to understand waves, and a fun way to spend the afternoon for all ages.
Surfing: learn to surf, play beach games, and enjoy the Algarve sun.
Climbing: on this introduction to climbing, we will learn some basic skills such as using gear and tying knots. We will then put these skills to practice before heading to Sagres to taste some of the best ice creams in Portugal.
Coastal bike trip: this fun bike ride will take us across rivers, through forests, and to a little coastal village for an ice cream break and a swim. Option: Transfer or ride back.
T-Shirt Painting: whether you need a break from the sun or a rainy day option this is a really enjoyable family activity that complements perfectly with the overall adventure.
Archery
Boat trip: this half-day adventure to the southwest tip of Europe is sometimes a great way to catch sight of dolphins.
Farm experience: actively collecting eggs, picking fruit, and possibly planting trees.
Night walk: a great introduction to stargazing.
Swimming in the lake: where you can also kayak, try a zip-line, or just spend some time on the deck.
Cabo San Vicente excursion: to watch the sunset.

The service was responsive and easy, but I am really writing to rave about the guide. Jonathan was serious and thoughtful as an instructor. He was also incredibly interesting, and he treated my 15-year old like a person, using the opportunity to communicate larger life lessons through the discipline of rock climbing. It makes me want to come back to the Algarve for our next vacation.

Our guide Jon was amazing. He made us feel very comfortable on the rocks and was very encouraging. We appreciated the fact that he didn't rush us and let us start/end when we wanted. Would definitely recommend hitting him up if you're ever looking for an adventure! Explore-share wasn't the easiest to navigate and the trip described wasn't completely accurate (breakfast, lunch and dinner was not included like mentioned). Regardless we are happy with the trip.

Since the first contact, Jon (Aqua Ventura) has been extremely kind and accommodating. For me it was the first time rock climbing and I had a wonderful time thanks to Jon that is an amazing teacher. I strongly recommend Aqua Ventura for this kind of adventures and also if you want to relax in the nature.
