There is a magical place that lies in the Alerce Andino National Park, very close to Puerto Montt, in the Chilean Patagonia. Dare to venture across it. And discover magnificent sceneries that you’ll only find here.
There are unique species that inhabit this wonderful park. Some of them include the Coihue de Magallanes and Lenga trees. But, we’ll also find one of the oldest species of trees in the world, the Alerces (Lahuen). The more we venture inside the park, the bigger trees we will encounter. We’ll be able to see some of them 60 meters and taller.
The Alerce Andino National Park is full of wonderful surprises. On top of the unique flora and fauna, it is blessed with over 50 lagoons, some small, some medium size. But all of them are equally hypnotizing. As they blend with an impressive scenery of imposing trees and clear skies. One of the lagoons we will get to visit is the Laguna Crodillerana Chaiquenes, with its mesmerizing deep blue water.
There’s also a magnificent andean massif in the background. And of course, we’ll get to breath it the most fresh and clear air, surrounded by nothing but nature, and ourselves.
Our full day adventures will start at around 9:00 a.m., and trek for about 5 hours. The trip is ranked as a low or medium difficulty level. So it welcomes anyone who can hike for several hours.
Don’t lose this chance. Invite your friends and family and request to book this private trip. It would be my pleasure to be your guide on this hypnotizing place.
Would you like to further explore the area? I also guide this 6-day trek from Argentina to Cochamo, Chile via Paso El León.
