2 Days
Jun - Sep
Do you already climb on cliffs with at least level 5c in second? Have you always wished to discover the high mountain? Then let me guide you for a weekend! Aiguilles rouges offers an ideal terrain for climbing beautiful walls and to gain some autonomy in the field.
During these two days, we will learn of revise:
– climbing long routes, level 5+ max,
– ensuring a second and a lead climber,
– abseiling safely,
– knowing how to retrieve equipment set by the lead climber (nuts, piton, tape sling),
– lead climbing in level 4 to 4+ routes.
I will take up to 2 people with me, to ensure your safety and to maximise the teaching.
I propose to you the following 2-day program.
Day 1 : Rocher Frison-Roche and “Clocher Clocheton” route (4c)
Meeting at 8AM in Chamonix. Learning or revising abseiling and assurance techniques at the Rocher des Gaillands in the morning.
Then large route in the afternoon: Clocher-Clocheton (2428m) crossing, 150m, 4c maximum. Edges crossing facing Mont Blanc (magnificent landscape). This classic opened in 1913! The climb is easy and the zip line between the first and second Clocheton will leave an unforgettable memory. Overnight in lodge.
Day 2 : “Frison-Roche” route, 200 m, 5c mandatory.
Breakfast at the lodge. Then we take the Brévent cable car and walk for 15 minutes to the foot of the route. This modern route already offers a good approach to mountain climbing, notably with a beautiful chimney pitch.
This is just an example program for 2 days in Aiguilles Rouges. I reserve the right to modify it at any moment depending on the participants level and the weather conditions. We can also shorten or extend the trip if you prefer!
You need to be in good physical shape.
Do you want to practice rock climbing in the Aiguilles Rouges massif above Chamonix? Then please contact me! I would love guiding you and helping you improve your climbing skills.

I had a great time climbing with Sebastien. He modified the trip because of the weather and was able to find dry rock on a wet day. Throughout the trip Sebastien not only provided plenty of climbing but also helped me on skills that I wanted to improve on.

Sebastien was a fantastic guide, I had a great time and learned a lot. I would 100% use him again as a guide and the climbing / route choices were great as well
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
