The Aiguille d’Entreves at Mont Blanc is one of the most complete 1-day ascents. It allows you to get the feeling of climbing iconic mountains in the Alps. And it offers dazzling sceneries all throughout this journey.
Join me for this 1-day mountaineering trip in the Aiguille d’Entreves, in the Chamonix-Mont Blanc area in France. One of the routes we can take begins at the Torino hut. It is a very easy ascent at the beginning, and we can pass either the east or the west side depending on the paths we choose. For instance, we can head northwest towards the Flambeaux pass. Then we can start hiking to the west, and pass by the North face of the Aiguille, one of the most beautiful parts on this peak. Thereupon we can continue west, passing the Round Tower. And finally we can head south to the Col d’Entrèves.
And the descent route can be as thrilling as reaching the top! We can descend using a system of cracks. Then, we can end our journey on a mixed terrain that is easy to cross.
But, no matter the route you choose, we’ll get breathtaking views all the way to the top. And the spots we’ll visit will definitely hypnotize you, leaving you wanting more! We’ll get the best views of the Aosta Valley. And of course we’ll be able to see the colossal Mont Blanc up close.
Be prepared to walk, as we’ll cover 6 hours meeting points on the Monte Bianco Skyway. But if you are up to the challenge, don’t hesitate and send me a request! It will be my pleasure to guide you across the Aiguille d’Entreves
If you want to keep exploring the area, I also guide this Half day Col du Chat Via Ferrata near Chamonix.

Antonin was a great guide who packed in so much in one day for us. There was no fuss with the arrangements and getting started. He gave us some great tips too which massively improved our skiing. Weather conditions weren’t great but he made it work well for us with his timings and locations.

We went for a 1-day backcountry tour with Antonin in Les Arcs. The snow conditions were very difficult - only two big snowfalls were in the area during the winter and the previous snowfall was 2 weeks before, so all routes in the resort area were very tracked. But Antonin did his best to find good snow for us, adopted the routes to our group skiing level and was not hurrying us at all. As a result we had a great adventure with a couple of long pleasant rides!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
