Description

Explore the largest glacier in Italy on this exciting 3-day tour. Follow me on this adventure in the Italian Alps and conquer the north face of the famous Mt Adamello!

Located in the province of Brescia, Mt. Adamello is considered to be the largest glacier in Italy.  Furthermore, with an elevation of 3,539 metres (11,611 ft), it’s also the second highest summit of the Adamello-Presanella range. During this 3-day trip, we will take over the north face of this famous peak by climbing 1000 meters of rock wall grade 6+ (UIAA)!

We will spend our first night at the Refugio Garibaldi (2553m), which is located in front of this imposing north face. Then we’ll start ascending on the next morning and you will discover top rock quality for climbing.  We’ll admire the stunning and unique views of the Italian Alps while also exploring the living history of this Great War site.

This trip is suitable for experienced climbers. Additionally, you will need to be physically very fit. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you throughout our journey.

Are ready to explore the largest glacier in Italy? Then send me a request and we’ll start planning our next mountaineering adventure!

The day was great, we felt safe, Stefano was responsive to our request, our pace, etc. The only thing that could have been improved was the communication before getting to Italy. I had a hard time deciding on what was appropriate for the level of our group, gauge how long and how hard the different options were with the limited info that was given to me.
