Highlights

  • Reach the highest summit in America.
  • Spend two weeks sleeping in the camps of the Andes.
  • Contemplate the unique views from the top of Aconcagua.

Description

Located in the Argentinean province of Mendoza, Aconcagua is the highest mountain in America. With its imposing 6,962 meters of altitude, it is an absolute challenge for anyone who wants to take one of its routes to the summit.

On this expedition, we will follow the normal route to the top of the mountain. We will spend two weeks in the mountains, ascend to the camps and take a few days for acclimatization and preparation of the equipment. At the bottom of the page, you can check out our itinerary on the ascent.

Naturally, this climb is very demanding and requires, apart from very good acclimatization, prior experience in the high mountains and an excellent level of fitness.

If you are a mountaineering lover, I am sure that Aconcagua is in your bucket list. Why not take this opportunity and go for this amazing adventure in the Andes during the next season? Book your place now by sending your request.

Also, I lead a 12-day expedition to Ojos del Salado. Check out the trip description!

Aspirant Guide

I am an aspirant IFMGA mountain guide, with extensive experience in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Perú and Ecuador.

I live in Patagonia, in Villa Cerro Castillo, South of Chile, an incredible place with mountains and climbing opportunities everywhere - with many hidden spots yet to explore. I do a lot of guiding in South America´s High Mountains, techical ones, and in Patagonia too.

I also offer rock climbing and mountainering courses in different locations in Chile and in my city. During my tours, I try to create the best experience for my clients, and like to teach them about the cultural and environmental importance of the places we visit.

What people are saying about Nicolás

Marcel

I climbed with Nicolás for two days in Coyhaique (crack climbing on Salto Chico and a multi-pitch on Cerro Mackay) and had a great time. Nicolás is a very nice and friendly guy and absolutely professional as a mountain guide. Totally recommended, and hopefully I‘ll get the chance to do some more climbing with Nicolás.

Highly recommend!

Luc

My guide Angela was great. Her experience and expertise helped me make the climb of a lifetime. My safety and well-being were her first and foremost concern.
