Join us on an extraordinary journey through the Western Massif of the Picos de Europa National Park, where the historic Vindio Ring beckons you.
Prepare to be awestruck by magnificent mountains and delve into the region's fascinating history. The Vindio Ring takes its name from the Vindio mountains, home to the last Cantabrian tribe that fought against the Roman troops. This tribe, known as the vadinienses, sought refuge in the mountains of the Cantabrian Mountains, now known as the Picos de Europa.
The Picos de Europa Ring has 3 modalities, the first of which is known as the Vindio Ring, which covers the Western Massif, the second the Ring that also covers the Central Massif apart from the Western Massif, and finally the Ring 3 Massifs that takes place in the three massifs, western, central and eastern.
After introductions and gear checks, you'll set off on your first hike, gradually ascending into the heart of the Western Massif. Lush valleys and verdant meadows will give way to dramatic mountain vistas as you gain elevation.
Trek across high mountain passes, offering panoramic vistas of the entire Western Massif. You might encounter snowfields and scree slopes, requiring careful navigation. I will accompany you throughout your journey, ensuring your safety and enriching your experience with fascinating insights into the region's history, geology, flora, and fauna.
Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to explore the Picos de Europa National Park and discover the captivating history of the Vindio Ring.

I am in love with nature and the mountains, that is why I live in the heart of the Montaña Palentina, the place of my family's ancestors.
I started enjoying the mountain in a personal way to later dedicate myself professionally to guide and carry out activities in the natural environment.
I do my activities mainly in the Palencia Mountains and the Picos de Europa.
Join me in my activities and let me show you my favorite places!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
